Tab Kennedy

This video art is a result of scanning my painting of a fox and databending it several times to create a collection of glitch art, which were stitched together to create a story in video form. All visuals and audio were derived from the original painting.

I exhibited this piece on a loop at IU Kokomo’s art gallery for my fine arts minor exhibit and at the off-campus Union Street gallery in an alumni exhibit. This piece was also the subject of my presentation poster research, “Making glitches: Databending .RAW files for art and video,” for IU Kokomo’s student research symposium.
