This is a piece of a phoenix that I scratched on scratchboard, or clayboard.

I used this piece in my “breadth" portfolio for my AP Drawing class in high school.

I was awarded a Gold Key for submitting this piece into the 2012 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards competition.
